NIC problems

I'd like to install Kubuntu 8.04 on my laptop, but for some reason KNetworkManager isn't seeing my NIC.

If I plug the ethernet cord into the modem and computer, The light comes on, so the NIC is getting power. And, lspci shows my NIC at:
